Other educational opportunities include the University of South Florida, 15 minutes away; St. Leo College, 16 minutes away; the University of Tampa, 25 minutes away; Pasco-Hernando Community College, located in town; and Hillsborough Community College, 20 minutes away.
Full service health services are available in the Land O' Lakes area. Residents have easy access to large medical complexes, including a Veterans' Administrated Hospital and the medical school at the University of South Florida.
Regional attractions include Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, the Florida Aquarium, and Lowry Park Zoo. Walt Disney World is only a 90 minute drive from Land O' Lakes. Professional sports include The Tampa Bay Buccaneers football team, Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team, Tampa Bay Mutiny Soccer Club, horse and drag racing, and spring training by major league baseball teams.
