Land Sale Listings Mapping Tool

Land Sale Listings free geo-coding map tool helps you locate your property and provides the latitude and longitude coordinates in decimal degrees. You can begin by either entering an address in the address search field below or by using the pan and zoom options to find your property. A marker must be placed on the map for the latitude and longitude coordinates to appear in the boxes below the map. Give it a try!

Location Marker
You must have a marker on the map to display coordinates. You can drag the marker position to change coordinates.

Searching by Address
Once you search by address, use the zoom in tool to make sure the property marker is accurate. The marker can be moved by clicking and dragging it to another area on the map.

Searching by Pan and Zoom
After searching using the pan and zoom controls, click on the Add Marker button to place a marker on the map to set the coordinates. Drag the marker to the property location. If you have a mouse wheel it can be used to zoom.

Map Views
You can change the map type by clicking on the Terrain, Map or Satellite buttons located in the upper right hand corner. The map defaults to the Terrain view. The Map view may provide a closer zoom.

Printing Your Map
There is a "printer friendly" link at the top right of the page that will provide you a cleaner version.

Coordinate Conversions
The FCC has a good conversion utility to convert between degrees, minutes, seconds and decimal degrees.
